The art of reflexology has been known to man for years - some say as far back as ancient Egyptian times. It is a unique therapy from which the majority of people can benefit. The therapist applies pressure to the hands or feet and stimulates reflex points, each of which corresponds to a certain part of the body or its internal organs.

Healthy

The human body is a highly efficient machine and if its components fail to work in harmony it can suffer greatly. Through reflexology, tiny deposits or imbalances in the feet or hands can be detected and broken down. During this process tension can be eased and circulation and elimination can be vastly improved.

Holistic

Reflexology is a holistic treatment; that is, it treats the whole person, not just the symptoms of dis-ease. This means that almost anyone can benefit from a treatment as the therapy brings relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions and is suitable for all ages. An increasing number of people are using this safe, natural therapy as a way of relaxing, balancing and harmonising the body.

What Does a Treatment Involve?

You will be on a couch or reflexology chair in a slightly raised position. The treatment only requires you to remove shoes and socks and a session usually lasts for around one hour. Regular treatments can help to maintain health and wellbeing.
